Terms and Conditions

1. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the MaprGo Community App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

2. User Responsibilities

• •You are solely responsible for the content you upload, including images, videos, location data, and POI-related information.
• •You confirm that you have obtained any necessary permissions or consents from business owners, establishments, or individuals before capturing or submitting video snippets or images.
• •By contributing content, you grant MaprGo a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute such content for the purpose of enhancing the platform.

3. Assumption of Risk

• •MaprGo assumes that all video and image data captured is done with appropriate permissions and legal approvals from the concerned parties or business owners. Users are solely responsible for obtaining such permissions.
• •MaprGo is not responsible for any mishap, accident, injury, or legal liability that occurs during or as a result of capturing data (including video snippets, images, or location data). Users undertake data collection at their own risk.

4. Content Moderation & Privacy Protection

• •MaprGo uses automated AI systems to detect and blur faces, license plates, and other personally identifiable information (PII) to comply with global privacy standards including GDPR and PDPA (Singapore).
• •Users should avoid uploading content that intentionally captures sensitive personal data or violates the privacy of individuals.
• •Any content found to be in violation of these standards may be removed at MaprGo's discretion.

5. Data Ownership and Use

• •Users retain ownership of the content they upload.
• •By uploading, users grant MaprGo permission to analyze, display, and share anonymized insights derived from the data.
• •MaprGo may use aggregated and anonymized data for research, analysis, and commercial purposes.

6. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload, share, or promote content that:

• •Contains nudity, sexually explicit material, or graphic violence
• •Violates any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights
• •Encourages illegal activity or hate speech
• •Misrepresents or falsely claims association with any business or POI

7. Community Standards

We expect users to:

• •Respect local laws and regulations while collecting data
• •Act respectfully towards others and property
• •Avoid harassment, impersonation, or misleading representations

8. Data Security

• •MaprGo employs industry-standard encryption and access controls to protect user data.
• •While we take all reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

9. Third-Party Services

MaprGo may integrate with or reference third-party services, including mapping APIs, cloud providers, or analytics tools. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

11. Limitation of Liability

MaprGo, its affiliates, directors, employees, and partners are not liable for:

• •Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• •Any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill resulting from use of the App
• •Any accident, injury, or legal issue arising from user behavior during content collection

12. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate user access to the App at our discretion, especially if users violate these Terms.

13. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
